Huawei made it clear that it wanted to be a part of the 2018 super smartphones contest with the launch of its Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro today.
The Chinese manufacturer has never disappointed when it comes to producing awesome gadgets of which the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are no exception. Huawei took various features of the best smartphones on the market currently and put all together to make the Mate 20 Pro.
The Mate 20 Pro has three rear cameras just as the LG V40, an in-display fingerprint sensor just as the Vivo Nex, iPhone X’s 3D face unlock feature and a 6.4 inch OLED display same as Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9. All these make the Huawei Mate 20 Pro a beast of a phone.
The Mate 20, on the other hand, has a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. Both phones, however, have a 24MP selfie camera.
The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are powered by the octa-core Huawei Kirin 980 CPU, dual NPUs, and a Mali-G76 GPU. The Mate 20 Pro has 6GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage capacity of 128GB. The Mate 20, on the other hand, has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage capacity.
The phones have three rear cameras with the Mate 20 Pro having the best camera specs with a 40MP primary sensor, 8MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 20MP ultra-wide shooter. The Mate 20 camera features include a 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor.
When it comes to battery capacity, the Mate 20 has a 4000mAh battery while the Mate 20 Pro houses a 4200mAh battery power. Both phones run on Android 9 Pie and come in Pink Gold, Midnight Blue, Emerald Green, Twilight, and Black colors.
