Instagram is currently working on a new feature that will give users the ability to hide hashtags from their posts. According to a tweet by Developer Jane Manchun Wong, this new feature will make you add an unlimited number of hashtags to your post but they will not appear in the caption once it’s posted.
In her tweet, she added four hastags to her post.

But none of them appeared in the final post.
Wong also went on to add that Instagram is testing a feature that will let users target a specific location where they want their post to show.

The ability to hide hashtags will benefit influencers and brands that want to boost their follower base without making it look too obvious. This feature, though very helpful is undergoing testing and we all hope it gets implemented.
